Donald L. Brooks

Donald L. Brooks is a member of the Florida Bar and is thereby licensed to practice law in all of the State courts of Florida. He practices law primarily in Palm Beach and Martin Counties, Florida.

The office is located in northern Palm Beach County. Donald L. Brooks is a graduate of the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary, in Williamsburg, VA., at which he earned a Juris Doctor degree and twice earned awards for having the highest grade in his class for particular courses.

He is admitted to the bar in Virginia (inactive), but has never practiced there.

He started the practice of law in North Palm Beach, Florida in 1974 in a general practice firm which gave him a broad background. He has handled cases involving many different areas of the law over his career.

He continues to concentrate on areas of personal injury, such as automobile accidents, inadequate security, property losses, slip and falls, dog bites, contracts and contractual disputes, litigation and trial work, landlord/tenant matters, leases and evictions, real estate law, including purchases of real property from beginning to end, such as negotiations and drawing up of the contracts to handling the closing in the office and issuing title insurance as an agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.

He also prepares wills and trusts, and handles probate matters, incorporation of businesses, and the buying and selling of businesses. In his litigation experience over the course of his career he has handled numerous jury trials, usually of 4 to 5 days length, as the sole attorney.

He has tried many non-jury trials as the sole attorney.
